About me
Born in Shizuoka, Japan, I began my ballet training before continuing my professional education in Europe. I graduated from the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp under the artistic direction of Michel Shannon. During my studies, I was selected as an Apprentice with Ballet Vlaanderen, where I gained professional stage experience. My repertoire included the title role in Giselle, Jiří Kylián's Sinfonietta, and works by George Balanchine.
Following my graduation, I continued my studies in the DNSP2 programme at the Pôle National Supérieur de Danse Rosella Hightower in Cannes under the artistic direction of Paola Cantalupo, expanding my artistic practice through contemporary dance, choreography, and creative composition. During this period, I performed in The Rite of Spring by Angelin Preljocaj.
Since joining the Ballet Company of the Schleswig-Holstein State Theatre in Germany in 2015, I have performed leading roles in both classical and contemporary repertoire. Under the artistic direction of Katharina Torwesten, I danced roles including Aurora, Kitri, and Odette/Odile. Since the 2020/21 season, I have continued my career under Ballet Director Emil Wedervang Bruland, appearing in productions such as Peer Gynt, The Firebird, Mozart Requiem, and Equinox.
Alongside my performing career, I have established myself as a choreographer, creating original works including Salamander, Change, and Deep Abyss for the studio stage of the Schleswig-Holstein State Theatre. In 2024, I received the artist award Maske mit Vorhang in Silber (Silver Curtain Award) from the Flensburger Theaterfreunde in recognition of my artistic achievements. In 2026, I was invited to present one of my choreographic works at Ballet Scenes, organized by the University of Bremen under the artistic direction of composer J. M. Solare.
Today, I work as both a dancer and choreographer, developing my artistic voice through performance and original creation across classical ballet and contemporary dance.
